No. Tanah Lot is an active, sacred Hindu sea temple, so ceremonies are not held on the temple rock. Instead we use nearby clifftop estates and oceanview resorts that face it, giving you the temple and sunset as your backdrop without disturbing the site.

How far is Tanah Lot from the airport and the south?
Tanah Lot is in Tabanan, roughly 60 to 90 minutes from Ngurah Rai Airport and the Seminyak and Canggu area, depending on traffic. It is calmer and greener than the south, so we usually suggest guests stay a night or two nearby.
What happens if it rains on the day?
The west coast can see showers in the wet season, so most of our Tanah Lot venues offer a covered open-sided pavilion with the same ocean view. We hold the outdoor lawn as plan A and move under cover only if the weather turns.
