Ubud Wedding, Bali: Jungle Garden Ceremonies, Venues & Prices

Rice terraces, river valleys, and the cultural heart of Bali.

Lush green rice terraces and a waterfall near Ubud, Bali

Ubud is Bali's green interior: jungle gardens, rice terraces, and river valleys, with a strong living culture you can weave into your day. Sekar Bali plans Ubud garden ceremonies for 10 to 40 guests from Rp 32.000.000 (~USD 2,090), all-inclusive of venue, florals, officiant, and coordination, with an optional Balinese blessing.

Ubud is the Bali of the interior: terraced hillsides, river gorges thick with jungle, and a town that has kept its culture alive through every wave of visitors. A wedding here feels less like a postcard and more like a discovery, green and intimate and rooted in place.

The garden venues range from riverside clearings wrapped in foliage to open decks over rice terraces and traditional pavilions among lotus ponds. Because Ubud sits inland and at altitude, it is cooler than the coast, and the light filters soft and golden through the canopy, especially in the early morning and late afternoon when we time most ceremonies.

Ubud is also the natural home of a traditional Balinese blessing, included in our packages, where a local priest threads the island’s own ceremony through your vows. It is the region for couples who want their wedding to feel both intimate and unmistakably Balinese.

Questions about Ubud

Good to know

What makes Ubud different from a beach wedding?

Ubud is inland, framed by jungle and rice terraces rather than the sea. It is cooler, greener, and more intimate, and the most natural place in Bali to include traditional culture in your ceremony.

Can we include a traditional Balinese blessing in Ubud?

Yes, and Ubud is the ideal setting for it. An optional blessing led by a local priest is included at no extra charge in our garden packages.

How many guests suit an Ubud wedding?

Between 10 and 40 guests. Ubud's garden venues feel most magical with an intimate group rather than a large crowd.

When is the best time of year for Ubud?

April to October is the driest season, though Ubud is at its greenest just after the rains. We time ceremonies for the cool, golden hours of morning or late afternoon.
