“Sixty people on the sand, the sky on fire, and a party that ran until midnight. Exactly the wedding we pictured.” — Mia, Sydney
Mia and Tom flew in from Sydney with sixty guests for the kind of wedding that is also a party. Seminyak was the obvious choice: a long beach for the ceremony, a sunset to marry under, and a beach club next door to carry the celebration into the night.
We secured a permitted stretch of beach and styled it with drapery and a bamboo arch, timing the ceremony to golden hour. As the couple exchanged vows, the sky behind them turned from gold to pink to deep orange. The moment the ceremony ended, guests moved straight to an adjacent beach club for dinner, drinks, and dancing on the sand.
“Sixty people on the sand, the sky on fire, and a party that ran until midnight,” Mia said. “Exactly the wedding we pictured. The timing of the sunset was perfect, and we still don’t know how they pulled it off so smoothly.”
